Ol Jogi Wildlife Conservancy is a 58,000-acre private sanctuary in Laikipia County, Kenya. It is dedicated to the protection of endangered wildlife and preservation of natural habitats. Established more than 60 years ago, Ol Jogi has become a global model for private conservation. In 1980, it became the second private rhino conservancy in Kenya, providing a critical haven for the Eastern black rhino. Ol Jogi is also home to the only bear in Africa Potap, a grizzly bear donated from Moscow and is a major attraction to tourist.
The conservancy also provides lifelong care for animals that cannot return to the wild, turning them into ambassadors for conservation education. These animals receive expert veterinary care, spacious enclosures, and specialized diets to ensure the best quality of life.
